Sales Director

SUMMARY:

Established medical equipment manufacturer is growing and adding an experienced Sales Director to their team in Brea, CA.

In this crucial role, you will oversee a small sales team. You and your team will strategize to create and implement a plan to enhance market presence and  increase market share of the healthcare or medical sectors in the US .
Main responsibilities:

• Will establish and oversee the distribution channels and build relationships with business partners, prioritizing experience in Post Acute Care and Acute Care.
• Frequently participate in contract negotiations with distribution partners and drive revenue growth initiatives.
• Keep up to date on industry trends while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
• Monitor sales performance and identify potential risks.

REQUIREMENTS: 
Position requires a highly motivated individual who holds themself and their  team to high standards including:

• 10+ years of experience in business development /sales management of “Medical Support Surface” / “Pressure Relief” products in the U.S. 
•  5 + years of related working experience with Span America, Invacare, Blue Chip, Kap Medical, Dynarex Corporation, Hill-Rom, or  Arjo.   
• Able to gain valuable insight based on existing in depth understanding of the medical and healthcare industry 
•  Successful experience in developing channels and businesses from start to finish.
• Ability to identify business needs and fulfill ambitious goals.
• Outstanding multi-tasking and people skills.
• Articulate communication skills (both verbal & written)
• Resourceful in utilizing your existing personal network to build and maintain strong relationships with potential business partners.

Base Salary: $85,000-100k plus commission
Position also eligible for bonus based on company performance.
