Identity and Access Management Governance Specialist

The Opportunity:

As an IAM specialist, you have the skills and experience to keep hackers from taking data and breaking processes. We’re looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their missions without disruption.

As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Governance Specialist at Booz Allen, you’ll play a critical role in the world of identity and access management and zero trust. In this role, you’ll support large-scale IAM projects for our clients. You’ll interface with stakeholders and engineering teams to delve into the details and dependencies of critical processes and users’ roles within them.

You’ll apply knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, policies and frameworks to conceptualize, design, and implement secure access management solutions. You will support risk management and governance policies and structures that will improve the security posture of large organizations. You’ll assess the existing client environment and provide recommendations for governance steering committees that process and address various IAM programs. You will work with a team to analyze emerging IAM technologies to design and implement IAM solutions that support both internal and external users. You’ll interface with senior leadership to provide project support and oversight on project milestones.

You Have:

8+ years of experience with IAM services and systems

8+ years of experience with delivering enterprise-scale solutions

8+ years of experience with supporting IAM policies and governance models

Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including CIS and NIST 800-63

Knowledge of authentication, authorization and privilege access management technologies and protocols

Ability to lead and coach technical staff

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience with Identity and Access Management platforms, including SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Oracle or CA Identity Management product suites

Experience with presenting technical briefs to senior leadership

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
