Connexus Energy has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Facility and Claims Coordinator. In this position you will coordinate outside contractors and service providers related to repair, maintenance and improvement projects for our Ramsey campus building and grounds. In addition, you will process claims related to property and damage that may occur throughout our service territory. If you are highly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities, are a problem solver, and a strong communicator, consider this opportunity. This position does require you to be in the office most days so if you are looking for a remote opportunity this role would not work for you.

Key Responsibilities & Results:

  • Investigate, document, and facilitate damage claims by Connexus and to Connexus facilities or property
  • Coordinate preventive and routine maintenance and repair for the building and grounds
  • Manage facility contracts and statements of work
  • Maintain facilities department documentation such as building drawings, service orders, manufacturer and building specifications
  • Maintain work orders for routine maintenance and monitor work order completion schedules and scope
  • Process invoices and assist in development and management of department budget
  • Coordinate meeting room set-ups, staff center supplies, snowplow team, and other office-related work

Required Talents, Skills, Education, Expertise:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Three years related work experience
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn and navigate different software applications
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with others both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong contractor, customer, and vendor relationships
  • High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to problem solve effectively, both personally and within a team
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Able and willing to work in the office, warehouse, and outside yards and grounds

Preferred Talents, Skills, Education, Expertise:

  • Associate’s degree or certification in facilities management, safety or risk management, industrial technology, or similar
  • Five years related work experience
  • Knowledge and experience with building management systems, controls, alarms, etc.
  • Knowledge of insurance practices or damage investigations
  • Basic understanding of supply chain and contract principles
