Dispatcher - (lumberyard) - Full-time

The Dispatcher position includes:

• Provides customer service and supervises customer service during deliveries.

• Schedules all deliveries on a timely basis.

• Ensures timely and accurate delivery of all materials.

• Dispatches the delivery/yard personnel to deliveries and monitoring the quality of those deliveries.

• Prints tickets and ensure that quantities and qualities are correct.

• Maintains housekeeping of the Dispatch Office.

• Coordinates deliveries with Contractor Sales and Management to ensure the highest levels of customer service satisfaction.

• Ensures that all drivers know their destination, how to get there, and any special delivery instructions prior to leaving the yard.

• Ability to use forklifts and saws as needed.

  Regularly lift/carry/move up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lift/carry/move 50 lbs. for moderate distances.
  
  Mainly work inside in controlled temperatures and on occasion outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold on asphalt.
