To provide direct support that honors the preferences and dignity of each person we support, to follow methodologies to support the achievement of outcomes, goals, and daily living skills. Providing direct support to effectively respond and support individuals through unplanned and daily situations. To assist the person we serve in understanding and following health professional orders and enhancing their quality of life.

Full-time/Part-time positions available.

Promotion of House Manager if qualifications are met.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Read the staff communication log and pertinent medical notes to be informed of the present conditions of the people we support and the home.
  • Be knowledgeable and follow all programs for each person we support as written.
  • Implement and facilitate a person-centered plan atmosphere.
  • Complete charting and goals for all persons we support.
  • Write in the communications log and relevant information for the next shift.
  • Transport and accompany people we support to and from appointments or other scheduled events.
  • Prepare meals following the individual's diet.
  • Provide safety and comfort to the people we support at all times.
  • Must maintain the confidentiality of the people we support.
  • Administer medications and treatments as necessary.
  • Train new staff.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with all DSPs, Program Directors, and Executive Directors/Owners/Operators.
  • Light housekeeping tasks.
  • Assist or complete daily hygiene needs for the people we support.

Conditions:

  • Must review Winings Faye Home 245D Policies.
  • Attend staff meetings and other required training.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist during interfering and physically aggressive behaviors, de-escalation, and intervention techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Certificate of High School graduation or GED is desired.
  • Experience preferred, will train.
  • Driver's license and dependable vehicle.
