Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Moffett Operator to join our team. The CDL Moffett Operator will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle equipped with a Moffett forklift attachment to transport and deliver goods to customers. The ideal candidate must have a valid CDL A license, Moffett certification, and a proven track record of safe driving and efficient operation of Moffett forklifts.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle equipped with a Moffett forklift attachment to transport and deliver goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using the Moffett forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and Moffett forklift to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks, manifests, and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle and Moffett forklift as needed, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and mechanical components.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to goods or property.
