Title: Cook
Job Duties: The Cook will be responsible for following proper procedures for utilizing, sanitizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment such as dishwasher, cutting utensils, sinks, pots, pans, etc. They will also keep a clean kitchen, storeroom, and dish room floors to health code requirements and prepare beverages, nourishment, salads, and desserts as assigned. The Cook shall fulfill these responsibilities promptly to meet the daily mealtime service requirements for our clients.
Schedule: Fill-Time
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma/or equivalent is desired.
- Previous experience in food service preferred.
- Possesses the knowledge and skills to assist in food preparation and service to client and staff food items.
About the Campus: At Crestwood Manor, a Therapeutic Recreation Program is provided for our residents. The primary goal of the Therapeutic Recreation Program is to allow our residents to attain their highest level of functioning and to promote awareness of one's environment, social process, creativity and dignity. Emphasis is placed on sensory stimulation and sensory awareness, as well as providing hope for improvement and prevention of regression.
