We are seeking an LPN/RN 1:1 Home Care nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.
Princeton : Immediate opening:
- Need 3 nights and 4 days (12 hour preferred 8am-8pm / 8pm - 8am). 10 year old is snuggly. one dog in home. Male or female caregivers welcome.
Ask about other openings in Andover (various days/nights are open per diem), Coon Rapids (every other saturday 7:30-4pm and per diem is open), or Columbia Heights (1-2 evenings a week (2:30pm-10pm) & Weekends (morning and days are open)
Responsibilities:
- Provide a variety of advanced cares potentially including but not limited to tracheostomy, ventilator, feeding tubes, and wound care.
- Managing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, plan and implement care) and collaborating on care plans with the multidisciplinary care team.
- Demonstrate, teach and supervise care to patients and families.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed nurse in the state of Minnesota (Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN))
- Must be Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certified by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs.Must be fluent in the English language.
- Team player with a positive attitude and effective organizational and communication skills.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent communication skills

PIHC provides home care nursing around the twin cities with PCA Services provided in and around Anoka County and northern Hennepin County. Our office is based in Andover, MN on Bunker Lake Boulevard on the border of Coon Rapids. Sick Time (ESST) is provided at a rate of 1 hour provided for every 30 hours worked up to 48 hours a year and 80 hours cumulative.
