We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Swim Instructors to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach individuals of all ages and skill levels how to swim and improve their swimming techniques. If you have a passion for swimming and enjoy working with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct swim lessons in a safe and supportive environment
- Teach proper swimming techniques, including breathing, strokes, and water safety
- Assess the swimming abilities of students and provide appropriate instruction based on their skill level
- Develop lesson plans and create engaging activities to enhance learning
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their swimming skills
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a clean and organized pool area
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress
Skills:
- Strong swim skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes
- Experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage behavior in a group setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience and the ability to work well with children and adults of all ages
- Knowledge of other sports such as basketball, cheerleading, karate, etc., is beneficial as it allows for a well-rounded approach to teaching swimming techniques
