Job Description
You must be able to successfully navigate a government required background check and vaccination record required. Punctuality and reliability are essential, a reliable means of transportation required.
Responsible for all Point of Sale transactions (P.O.S) and coffee area. Ability to
describe all food stations and offerings provided. Communicate all coffee and
food-related needs to the kitchen and management. Assist in overall clean up and
stocking in the dining area per opening and closing procedures. Practices
“aggressive hospitality” and shows professionalism with guests, co-workers, and
management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: List the principal on-going responsibilities that are
necessary to accomplish the purpose of the job.
1. Reports to property on time and in proper uniform.
2. Set-up, organizes the coffee area according to standards.
3. Knowledge of all menu items on buffets.
4. Converses with guests and answers questions regarding all items.
5. Participates in proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
6. Maintains full knowledge of service standards.
7. Performs all other duties as assigned that include daily inventory for coffee
items.
8. Performs as a food runner and all other duties as necessary.
JOB DESCRIPTION
STATUS & SCOPE: Describe the reporting relationships, special skills, and abilities
required to perform essential job functions.
This position reports to the Food and Beverage Manager. Requires full
understanding and knowledge of food and beverage standards, ability to
comprehend and communicate in fluent English, outgoing personality. Must have
previous cashier experience and ability to operate a P.O.S system in a timely
fashion.
QUALIFICATIONS: Describe experience, education, and related coursework
typically required or expected to perform essential job functions.
At least one-year of experience as a cashier, buffet attendant, or related position
within a restaurant, hotel, or conference center operation. Any related, customer
service/oriented experience will be considered.
