Hydraulic & Industrial Hose Fabricator

Summers Rubber Company is an industrial hose fabrication and distribution company specializing in supplying mechanical rubber goods to companies in various industries. We are seeking a fabrication associate to accurately fill customers’ orders, properly receive and put away stock, and maintain the warehouse according to company standards at our new Columbus, OH location. The associate will accurately perform fabrication tasks that include cutting hose to length, cutting sheet rubber and gasket material, building hose assemblies with a variety of tools and equipment. He/she will serve customers courteously and efficiently at the customer service counter. He/she will properly maintain warehouse equipment. The fabrication associate will work with other company personnel to accomplish the company’s objectives.

Successful applicants must have a good mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with tools and equipment. This job is fast paced, independent work, characterized by a variety of frequently changing tasks. The ability to read and follow complex instructions is essential.
