Our client is a leading fencing company in the DC area that is looking for a commercial fencing estimator to collaborate a and maintain key relationships with contractors, design consultants and vendors during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Our client is a leading fencing company in the DC area that is looking for a commercial fencing estimator to collaborate a and maintain key relationships with contractors, design consultants and vendors during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upload construction plans to computer
- Perform online plan take-offs
- Interpret project specifications
- Estimate material and labor costs for projects
- Create proposals and negotiate contracts
- Collaborate with contractors, design consultants, and vendors to ensure accuracy
- Recommend cost-reduction options
- Maintain project documentation
- Manage projects
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but education and experience will be considered
- Strong mathematics skills or experience
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in relevant software
- Familiarity with project management principles
- Base salary + commission (amount dependent upon experience)
