We are currently expanding our team at Pittsburgh Center for Plastic Surgery (PCPS) and looking for an experienced Medical Aesthetician to join us.

The Pittsburgh Center for Plastic Surgery (PCPS) is a growing surgical and non-surgical aesthetic center which has been providing services to the Pittsburgh area for 30 years. Our facility has been a hub of innovation and excellence in the cosmetic field and is looking for new talented individuals to move forward in our growing team. Our office provides services on two penthouse floors of the 3109 Forbes Ave, Forbes Allies Building, with medical spa services being provided primarily on the 4th floor encompasing nearly 4000 sqft of space. 

Position Overview:

As a Medical Aesthetician at PCPS, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive aesthetic care to our patients. Your role will encompass:

Exciting Responsibilities:

• Skin Care Specialist: Conduct skin evaluations, recommend suitable treatments and products, and perform a variety of services, including facials, peels, and laser treatments, tailored to enhance patient's skin health and appearance.

• Pre and Post-Operative Care: Work closely with patients before and after surgical procedures to complement their treatment plans with appropriate skin care routines, ensuring optimal recovery and aesthetic outcomes. This includes coordinating with our Physician Assistants when touch up procedures are needed to complete the patients surgical journey.

• Treatment Innovator: Stay abreast of the latest aesthetic trends and technologies, suggesting new treatments and services that align with our practice's standards of excellence. Our spa utilizes the latest medical skin care technologies to keep patients looking their best. 

• Patient Advocate: Educate clients on proper skin care routines and recommend products suited to their skin types and concerns and then provide a comforting and informative presence for patients, guiding them through their aesthetic journey with professionalism and empathy.

• Team Player: Work closely with our team of surgeons, physician assistants, and nurses to develop holistic treatment plans for clients.

Qualifications:

• Aesthetician Certification Licensure in good standing Pennyslvania
• 1-2 years experience in facial aesthetics and skin care therapies and products
• Additional experience in Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, or the Medical Spa setting is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of medical devices including lasers and other devices preferred but not required. 
• Passion for patient care and dedication to excellence, our patients demand the very best.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
