Manual Machinist WELDER MUST have Experience

Monday-Sunday up to 12-hour shifts with mandatory Saturdays

Shifts days/afternoons/midnights

Shift is afternoon or midnight (TBD at interview)

PAY TBD AT THE INTERVIEW RANGES FROM $24-$32 BASED ON EXPERIENCE 

Must be able to read a micrometer/calipers

Ability to learn how to read a thickness tester

Ability to read and understand procedures

Responsible for maintaining a clean area

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Highschool Diploma / GED Equivalent required

Experience

Lathe and overhead crane and forklift experience

Mechanical experience

Grinding experience

Polishing experience

Machine shop experience

Skills

Above-average math skills

Good observation skills

Leadership skills

The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to work within hot environments up to 12 hours a day.

This position may include use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Proper use of PPE is required.

Attention: Work environment may cause Employees to come into contact with various metal particulates such as nickel, cobalt, iron, and Tungsten Carbide. Please ask for a full list and MSDS from the supervisor if there are any known metal or chemical allergies.
