Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Data Operations Coordinator position is responsible for managing operational tasks within the National Apartment Association’s database and other enterprise applications. Duties include responding to internal and external user support requests, performing routine and ad hoc operational tasks, monitoring system metrics, and identifying potential problems. This role plays a key part in maintaining the overall health of important business services. Coordinating with technical and business teams, the Coordinator will ensure a high level of service to constituents. This position reports to the Sr Manager, Technology Operations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Triage incoming support requests
- Perform operational tasks per standard procedures
- Assist developing standard procedures and documentation
- Perform routine data cleanup assignments
- Identify duplicate accounts and merges with timeliness and accuracy
- Assist team with troubleshooting Nimble/Community Hub technical issues
- Provide support for Salesforce as needed
- Develop standard operating procedures as required
- Develop QA methods and reports
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Advanced typing skills with speed greater than 35 WPM and accuracy greater than 80%
- Must be organized and detail-oriented to perform extensive data entry
- Computer proficient, including MS Word and Excel
- Must be capable of working independently in a demanding, priority-driven department
- Customer Service oriented
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Database experience (NimbleAMS, Salesforce, IMIS, or similar)
- Zoho, Jira, Zendesk, Asana, or similar
- Experience working with trade associations
- Experience with association management systems such as NimbleAMS

None
TRAVEL:
NAA is located in Arlington, VA, and local employees will be expected to work in the office 2-3 days per week. Candidates working from remote locations are expected to attend one event on site each year.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
