Pay:
- $31 an Hour
- Paid every Friday
- Insurance available for Full-Time Employees (must work a minimum of 30 hours per week)
Shifts:
- 3p - 11:30p and 7a – 3:30p
- Rotating weekends
Term: Long-term placement
Interview type: Phone call.
Orientation: 1st and 16th of every month (if the 1st or 16th falls on a weekend or holiday, orientation will be the next business day) from 8am-5pm.
LPN Job Description: GA Regional Hospital provides quality care to mentally ill adults and individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The facility provides evaluation and treatment to clients needing care. The hospital's admitting office is a psychiatric emergency receiving facility open 24 hours a day. The registered nurses and licensed practical nurses’ aides provide comprehensive psychiatric care on a 24-hour basis in accordance with the physician’s prescribed treatment and with the recognition of the dignity and uniqueness of each client. Provide care, treatment, and general welfare of patients. May supervise the work of others and works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs Nursing duties within the assigned areas and assigned shifts, including the collection of lab work and other health screenings. Keeps informed of and follows all agency, facility, and unit policies and procedures. Assists the RN Supervisor with on-the-job Nursing instruction.
Job Requirements:
- Must be proficient in Med Pass
Credentials Required: Active Nursing License Current TB (if they have a positive TB – Chest X-ray and symptom screening required) Current Flu (waiver upon request; must be approved by facility) American Heart Association BLS CPR Card COVID Vaccine (waiver upon request; must be approved by facility) Requirements: at least 6 months experience. Units: All units are lockdown Hold over policy 1 major winter holiday; 1 major summer holiday.
