Position: Area Sales Manager

Regional Vice President

Job Description:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that each club within its district exemplifies the companys culture & values while achieving the desired financial results. They will exhibit an ability to execute the company sales plans for each club location. They will demonstrate an aptitude of all company policies and initiatives to ensure the integrity of the Crunch brand.


Requirements:
  • 5 years management experience in multi-club management
  • Proven sales track record
  • Fitness management experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Creative management techniques

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop & implement sales training for all levels, including all new hires & continuing education for employees of all positions- Management, Front desk & Personal Trainers.
  • Ensure that staff has a high level of knowledge about clubs programs, facilities & equipment.
  • Understand the health club industry within the district. Monitoring all competitor products, sales & marketing activities. Make recommendations to management for existing & new growth opportunities.
  • Drive the achievement of financial results, ensure profitability, & the highest level of performance for each club.
  • Evaluate club performance in sales & ensuring that each Manager completes & reviews weekly productivity reports. Provide additional coaching when needed to meet these goals and address unsatisfactory performance promptly and appropriately.
  • Review & analyze sales performances against programs, quotes & plans to determine effectiveness.
  • Model and manage effective supervision to drive sales by consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure each club is immaculate and staffed appropriately
  • Demonstrate ability to lead, motivate & manage personal training department. Work with Fitness Mangers to ensure personal training profitability & ensure all components of departmental objectives are satisfied.
  • Implement & support company programs & promotions to help generate new personal training client acquisition for optimum member base penetration.
  • Facilitate integration of Personal Training products into point of sale presentations to maximize the number of orientation sessions scheduled & packages sold.
  • Conduct Monthly or Weekly Meetings-Department, Club Management, Employee Training's & Annual Performance Evaluations.
