Job Description
Are you looking to have an impact on people’s lives through recovery? If so, we are looking for you! Our Master's level Fee for Service (FFS) clinicians are a part of a small but dedicated team using evidence-based, culturally competent interventions to influence change in people’s lives. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in the mental health and/or substance use field, and should have some familiarity with the latest ASAM criteria standards.
Clinically, the individual is expected to provide services through a co-occurring treatment philosophy which integrates a strengths based, client-centered, trauma informed, and recovery-oriented philosophy. The candidate willcarry a small caseload of clients with a primary diagnosis of substance use, and provide a minimum of five hours weekly.

General duties and responsibilities:
Provide quality clinical group and individual services under supervision
Engage clients through services to a successful completion as demonstrated by increased client functioning, and completion of treatment plan.
Provide quality, comprehensive documentation of both mental health and substance use disorders, interventions used, and goals accomplished in accordance with state regulations.
Determine client’s readiness for change and work through any barriers to obtaining his or her treatment goals
Maintain open communication with referral source, highlighting any issues or non-compliance as necessary.
Integrate evidence-based practices into client service delivery.
Adhere to clinic goals and timelines by remaining in compliance with timely service delivery
May attend staff meetings and relevant training sessions as required by the agency.
Maintain clinical license throughout employment.
Other duties as developed with the Program Supervisor or Director
Qualifications:
State of Connecticut Professional license: Master’s level clinical degree and a minimum of an associate- level State of Connecticut Professional License (LMSW, LPC-A, etc.). Full state of Connecticut licensure strongly preferred (LPC, LCSW, LADC). Compensation will be commensurate to experience and licensure.
