About this job
Our client, a well-known pharmaceutical company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. In this role you ensures that all parts received through the receiving inspection process meet inspection specification per pertaining SOPs, WIs and inspection documentation requirements before the product is released and accepted.
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12 months
Pay rate: $34/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
What’s the Job?
- Accurately complete all quality inspection-related documentation, assuring GDP are being followed throughout the inspection process.
- Maintains a high level of mechanical inspection and productivity and performs inspection of manufactured parts, subassemblies, gauges, and raw materials.
- Review Certificate of Conformance for received components and mat
- Complete the First Article inspection of new and revised parts.
- Identifies and issues non-conforming product reports for products and raw materials that do not meet specifications.
- Assists with revisions of procedures and work instructions, inspection forms and other quality-related documents as needed.
- Oversee receiving inspection process from receipt of materials, prioritization of inspection based on urgent request, release of materials and communication to Lab Management of material status upon completion of inspection.
- High school diploma and 3-5 years of working in a Medical Device Field is a PLUS
- GD&T Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing experience preferred.
- Vision system MicroVu experience
- Proficient with computers and knows how to use Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in English Language (written and spoken)
- Must be able to multitask
