Job Description
Summary:
The Employee Benefits Account Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day customer service support of client accounts and provides clerical support to the Employee Benefits team.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides customer service support to all Employee Benefits clients.
  • Effectively works with Sales Executive to communicate due dates, timelines and proposals.
  • Works with carrier markets as well as general agencies to obtain rates for all lines of coverage including medical, dental, vision, life and disability.
  • Assists clients with benefit eligibility management with a variety of insurance carriers.
  • Maintain records and updates client portal.
  • Prepares Employee Benefit communication and client facing meeting materials for Employee Benefits Manager and Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of employee benefits customer service experience preferred.
  • Life & Health license required, or must be obtained within first 30 days of employment.
  • Sound organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Strong Excel proficiency required.
