Position Summary: Under General Supervision performs a variety of back-office functions. Hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:30-4:30.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Complete all incoming verifications of deposit
- Pick up mail from Post Office at 605 4th Street
- Pick up mail from Post Office at 875 N Capital
- Maintain mail room equipment and routine maintenance of the mail room vehicle, including filling the gas tank once a week
- Deliver bank deposits for foreign items to Bank of Commerce
- Track Monthly postage
- Order and inventory internal mail envelopes
- Meter all outgoing mail and track department mail
- Process mail payments
- Run daily mail to the Post Office in the afternoons
- Pick up, sort and deliver mail from/to various Westmark locations
- Pick up at Jim’s trophy
- UPS and FedEx drop off at Hampton Inn on Channing
- Attends meetings as required
- Assists other personnel as needed
- Perform any and all additional duties assigned by VP Operations Services Manager

- Is able to interact with members and fellow co-workers professionally and with integrity
- Shows a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Maintains a reliable attendance record and takes responsibility for their own actions
- Represents the Credit Union, both during and outside of work hours, in a courteous, professional manner
- Conforms with all policies and regulations
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
- Is able to carry at least 40 pounds
- Thorough knowledge of Westmark’s products and services
- Working knowledge of Symitar
- Quick and accurate typing and 10-key skills
- Ability to communicate in a professional courteous manner in all situations
- Ability to use a personal computer and Westmark’s telecommunication equipment
- A general knowledge of the functions performed by each Westmark branch/department
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Pleasant, easily understood phone voice
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
