Job Description
Position Summary:
The Jr. Manager, Field Operations (Jr. MFO) is a key member of the Field Operations team and is responsible for assisting in the management of inventory and quality for the Service Depots in their assigned territory. The Jr MFO will build relationships and partner with our depot partners to ensure PECO’s service and quality specifications are met. They will also be liaison between the depot and the other internal business units to answer questions and/or resolve issues by escalating as appropriate.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate with colleagues, vendors and clients in French and English
- Service Depot Operations as directed (PECO & 3rd Party)
- Schedule Inventory Audits (Pallets/Lumber)
- RFU/WIP Quality audits
- Repair Analysis
- Oversight of Depot Sort and Repair Activities
- Communicate Production Requirements
- Monitor Hourly/Daily/Weekly Production Performance
- Work with depot to close any gaps as required
- May provide assistance in the management of Depot Cost
- Cost Per Repair Management
- Components Per Repair Management
- Material Usage (Paint & Lumber) and Inventory Management
- Manual Invoice Approvals/Justifications.
- Demonstrate PECO’s Core Values and Leadership Traits
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Key Deliverables:
- Work with Depot to ensure high quality products are consistently delivered to PECO Customers.
- Utilizing LEAN tools and working with their Depots, monitor and drive continuous improvement with regard to cost performance
- Effective and accurate Service Depot inventory management
- Coordination and Management of monthly production objectives with assigned Service Depots
- Effective Quality Control and Production Process management
- Reduce/eliminate inefficiencies with daily Service Depot processes.
- Effectively launch and train new process initiatives w/Service Depot Partners.

Qualifications:
- Four-year degree or equivalent job experience in the field is preferred
- LEAN/SixSigma certification a plus
Environment/Physical Demands:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Operations
- This will require an engaged customer-service focused professional, who is analytical, can build solutions from process perspective, and effectively lead third parties to execute the solutions
- The ability to drive partner and employee behavior through effective accountability driven leadership
- Demonstrated ability to inspire confidence, communicate and operate effectively
- Experience key performance indicator metrics to benchmark and track performance
- User level experience with Excel, data warehouse software, PowerPoint
- Valid Driver’s License/ability to drive during day or night
- Ability to travel between the US and Canada
