Position Summary:

Our Shipper/Receiver is responsible for ensuring all incoming packages and supplies are properly received and transferred to their respective locations within the company. They are responsible for verifying all incoming and in-house fabricated parts are dimensionally accurate. Working both in teams and individually, the successful Shipper/Receiver will have a mechanical aptitude, with experience in CNC machining to apply those skills when verifying fabricated part accuracy. Organization, neatness and attention to quality details are requirements. Schlumpf Shipper/Receiver is the most important cog in Quality Control efforts, making certain that the parts and components we receive are accurate and the equipment we ship arrives at our customer in the same condition it left our facility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately packages and ships customer orders via Parcel services
  • Package and load goods for shipping via LTL services
  • Receives incoming supplies
  • Interpret CAD drawings, and verify fabricated parts are accurate.
  • Maintain, update, and verify physical and electronic inventory
  • Collaborate and communicates with Production, Engineering, Accounting and Sales
  • Responsible for general warehouse work as directed, including working in any and all departments within the warehouse relating to incoming or outgoing product.
  • Documents all work with 100% accuracy in a timely manner



Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Experience in CNC Machining.
  • Extensive mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Comfortable with hand tools
  • Willingness to learn
  • strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license
