We are currently hiring full-time and part-time infant, toddler, and preschool teachers. We are open 7:30-5:30 Mondays-Fridays, year-round. This position would be four ten-hour days, with Saturdays and Sundays off with an additional day off during the week.

Duties

• .Relates joyfully and sensitively to the children, including holding, comforting, and consoling whenever and as much as needed.
• Oversees appropriate teacher/ child ratios and the supervision of the classroom
• Responsible for the planning and implementing of education and developmentally appropriate activities for the children, through the use of weekly lesson plans. Using individual education plans to set goals to ensure continual growth and development for each child.
• Keep parents informed of lesson plans and curriculum goals.
• Models appropriate Early Childhood Care and Education methods and techniques.
• Facilitates learning experiences through attitude, actions and words, and participates in and supervises play and educational activities.
• Prepares an environment that is orderly, clean, and appealing, which permits the child to grow and explore. Uses initiative and creativity to develop and expand classroom learning centers.
• Supervises and participates in serving lunches and snacks. and/ or preparing and feeding bottles for the children and cleaning up after meals with children. Sit with the children and participates in conversation during mealtimes.
• Maintains good relations with parents and ensures all parent communications remain confidential.

Requirements

• .Must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently throughout the day.
• Experience working with children.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors year-round.
• Great attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility
