Job Description

Summary: Provides prompt, efficient, accurate, and courteous service to members by telephone, video or email. Actively cross-sells credit union products and services. Assists members with account transfers, payments, balance history, transaction history, re-authorizations, ACH, CP opt in/out, check orders, updating personal contact information, statement changes/delivery method, skip-a-pay, fee refunds, and completes notes in the system.

Where you will make an impact:

Facilitate Financial Transactions: Process member transactions accurately and efficiently. Enrolls members for products and services. Verifies account ownership to ensure member privacy. Performs member transactions, provides information and facilitates account maintenance as requested.

Identify Potential Cross-Sales: Corresponds with members to create cross-selling opportunities by utilizing knowledge of credit union products and services.

Outstanding Service: Provides excellent member service 100% of the time. Responds to member questions via phone, e-mail, or in person in an efficient, friendly and accurate manner.

Member Problem Solving: Knowledgeable with products, services and system in order to resolve member complaints and issues within defined authority. Resolves member account discrepancies and complaints with critical thinking and problem solving by having access to more in depth systems. Maintains a professional, courteous, and helpful attitude with fellow employees, management, and members.

Focus on Ongoing Professional Development: Participates in education and training provided by the credit union. Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all departmental policies, procedures, rules and regulations.



Do you have what it takes?

  1. High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.

  2. One to three years of related experience or training preferred.

It is essential that this individual understand and abide by the strict confidentiality policies that are necessary in any financial institution.
