POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Overview:

The primary function of the Tag and Title Clerk is to process tag and title paperwork for in state and out of state purchases to include retail and wholesale customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify Accuracy of Title Paperwork 

  • Processes all tag and title paperwork in a timely manner 

  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines 

  • Verify Accuracy of Trade Title Information 

  • Coordinating Lienholder Title Status as needed 

  • Ability to work independently and with a high level of discretion 

  • Verify Tax Exempt Status with relevant counties when appropriate 

  • Process military customers title paperwork 

  • Assist in other office functions or other duties as designated by the supervisor

  • Basic understanding of tag and title laws in the state of Georgia 

  • Detail oriented 

  • Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office Suite 

  • 1-2 Years of experience in a dealership setting preferred 

  • Conduct themselves professionally and in a respectful manner with other employees
