Key Responsibilities:
- Manual machine operations
- Understanding of chemical processes
- Inspection
- Troubleshooting and basic maintenance
- Moderate frequency of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- High frequency of gripping/reaching
- Manual dexterity is moderately necessary
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks
- Bench chemistry testing
- Ability to handle chemicals daily
- Good problem solving, organizational and recording skills
- Basic computer skills – familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Good mechanical skills/aptitude
- Proven ability with math skills/calculations
- Willingness to obtain respiratory and confined space certification
Additional Responsibilities:
- Tank Maintenance (tank change outs, filter maintenance and wastewater treatment)
- Quality Compliance Testing
- Hazardous Waste Management
- Inventory and ordering of chemicals

Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder
- Must pass background check and appropriate drug testing
- English Proficiency
- Must meet Valor attendance requirements
- Must meet Valor respirator requirements
- Additional Education: Must have minimum of 1 semester college level chemistry and math and/or 2 years Chemistry Lab work experience.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to work in an environment containing devices that may interfere with the operation of a pacemaker
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic experience with a structured documentation/records system
- Basic understanding of Chemistry and previous experience with titrations and chemical analysis
