Meals Courier - Per Diem

The Aroostook Agency on Aging Nutrition Services team is looking for a per diem employee to fill in as a delivery driver at our Madawaska Dining Center location. This position is on an as needed basis to replace our regular meals courier when they are unable to come to work. This position is generally about 3.5 hours per day when need arises. The meals courier is responsible for packing and delivering meals to individuals on a schedule set by the dining site and/or Nutrition Manager. In some areas of Aroostook this person will also pick up bulk meals and deliver them to another dining site or other location. Agency will provide vehicle, but successful applicant must possess a valid Maine driver's license with a safe driving record, must complete and pass a pre-employment physical at Work Health in Presque Isle. Must be possess the following: effective customer service, follow HIPAA guidelines, work well in a team setting, but also able to work independently, able to follow written procedures and meet established deadlines, solve routine problems and able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. High School diploma required. Rate of pay is $15.00 per hour. This position has no benefits. Interested applicants should submit an application to julie.doody@aroostookaging.org.
