As our Client Strategy Senior Director, you will be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction for our diverse clientele and fostering a vibrant, diverse team of leads and supervisors. This dynamic position involves developing robust media plans, honing business goals, and managing budget forecasts while facilitating professional growth within your team.

Navigating through clients' internal structures, you will build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration and overcoming any potential roadblocks. With a deep understanding of performance metrics and a focus on continuous improvement, you will lead executive-level communication and strategic planning, cultivating lasting relationships and driving results toward performance goals.

Your role will also encompass active participation in client meetings, collaboration with media leads to foster critical partnerships, and providing subject matter expertise to both internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring the team and the client have the appropriate dashboards for data analysis, you will oversee the execution of key projects, leading and delegating resource management.

You will lead, build, and advise on developing an integrated media strategy and marketing plans while collaborating closely with Channel and other Client Strategy leaders to deliver exceptional results and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently problem-solve issues effectively and expediently across external and internal contacts to ensure your team meets or exceeds expectations while leaning on the manager for support in direction.
  • Must be a team-oriented and solutions-driven individual with insatiable curiosity, exemplary numerical proficiency (especially in Excel), and a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Possess a customer-first, business-centric approach to solving the client's problems and developing an integrated media strategy that meets client objectives.
  • Work directly with the Client Strategy and media channel teams to create, update, and present media plans.
  • Help define budget allocation, media channel selection, and flighting, tracking plans in flowcharts to visualize and document media plans.
  • Utilize media planning tools (Which Ones?) and collaborate with the team to understand target audiences and to determine the best media mix based on trends, audience consumption behaviors, client goals, and past performance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to illustrate findings and provide recommendations.
  • Monitor ongoing campaigns, ensuring they are running as planned and meeting performance criteria.
  • Suggest adjustments to media plans based on performance data and changing market conditions.
  • Understand and challenge the performance boundaries across various media channels including, but not limited to, Video (Linear and Digital), Print, Social, Programmatic, OOH, Paid Search, and larger direct partnerships and experiential activations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to align paid media efforts with a variety of campaign plans and different projects.
  • Navigate the client's internal structure adeptly, investing significant time in collaboration and working with key stakeholders to overcome any roadblocks within a matrix organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new media platforms, and technological advancements.

Skills & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant work supporting retail apparel clients
  • 4+ years in a supervisory management role.
  • Demonstrated management and team development skills.
  • Proven experience in multi-channel digital marketing and managing digital media campaigns.
  • Solid analytical background with experience in managing budgets/KPIs from a comprehensive, cross-channel strategy perspective.
  • Familiarity with various attribution methods (MTA, MMM & Last Click).
  • Quick, accurate, and decisive analytical, forecasting, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint or Keynote for reporting and presenting to clients.
