Position summary

As a pivotal member of our interdisciplinary team, the Licensed Mental Health Professional will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals seeking support and guidance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various mental health issues, therapeutic modalities, and a commitment to promoting emotional well-being.


Primary duties & responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate mental health status, including diagnostic interviews and standardized assessments.

  • Formulate accurate diagnoses based on the DSM-5 and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans.

  • Provide evidence-based, person-centered therapy to address a variety of mental health concerns.

  • Collaborate with consumers to establish treatment goals and develop personalized intervention strategies.

  • Respond promptly and effectively to crisis situations, implementing crisis intervention techniques to ensure the safety and stability of consumers.

  • Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans, incorporating a range of therapeutic modalities based on consumers’ unique needs and goals.

  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal progress.

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment for consumers to share experiences, build connections, and learn from one another.

  • Provide psychoeducation to consumers and their families, promoting understanding of mental health issues, coping strategies, and self-care.

  • Advocate for consumers' needs and collaborate with community resources to enhance support systems.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date consumer records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

  • Prepare and submit required reports to supervisors, treatment teams, and external agencies as necessary.


Experience and Professional Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a mental health professional (Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or equivalent).

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in providing mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and interventions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining licensure.
