Site Superintendent

Washington, D.C/ Chantilly, VA

exp Federal is an established, collaborative, and growing full-service architectural and engineering firm that provides a full range of design solutions and construction support to the federal government. The Challenge:

We are seeking a Site Superintendent to join our team in Washington, DC/ Chantilly, VA. Ideal candidates are willing to travel independent thinkers, self-motivated, communicate proactively, enjoy collaborating within and beyond the project team.

This role is a second shift will be from 16:00-24:00.

Principle Areas of Responsibility:

  • Must be able to develop and implement QC plans, safety plans, and schedules.
  • Demonstrated experience and competency applying the principles of UFGS 01 45 00.00 (Quality Control) and EM 385-1-1.
  • Coordinate construction projects, including scheduling meetings and reviewing project documents as needed..
  • Collaborate with administrators on the supervision of construction operations.
  • Responsible for developing dig permits, outages plans, etc. as needed to schedule the work with the end users.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years construction experience
  • Understands all facets of the construction process
  • Preferred QCS Trained, OSHA 30 Hour trained, Trade License (Electrician, Plumber, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance is required. 

Desired Skills

  • Proven work experience in US Government construction management
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
