The Challenge:
We are seeking a Site Superintendent to join our team in Washington, DC/ Chantilly, VA. Ideal candidates are willing to travel independent thinkers, self-motivated, communicate proactively, enjoy collaborating within and beyond the project team.
This role is a second shift will be from 16:00-24:00.
Principle Areas of Responsibility:
- Must be able to develop and implement QC plans, safety plans, and schedules.
- Demonstrated experience and competency applying the principles of UFGS 01 45 00.00 (Quality Control) and EM 385-1-1.
- Coordinate construction projects, including scheduling meetings and reviewing project documents as needed..
- Collaborate with administrators on the supervision of construction operations.
- Responsible for developing dig permits, outages plans, etc. as needed to schedule the work with the end users.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years construction experience
- Understands all facets of the construction process
- Preferred QCS Trained, OSHA 30 Hour trained, Trade License (Electrician, Plumber, etc.)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance is required.
Desired Skills
- Proven work experience in US Government construction management
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
