Job Description
TITLE: WAREHOUSE CLERK, SENIOR
DEPARTMENT: WAREHOUSE
REPORTS TO: WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Accurately and efficiently ship orders to customers, unload materials, verify and route shipments.
- Receive materials and unload trucks. Verify count with notification of discrepancies. Route packing lists and bills appropriately.
- Accurately fill and ship required product to customer: pull cases, stencil, shrink wrap, palletize, load, and route Bill of Lading to appropriate trucker.
- Transport materials to assigned areas as required, staging as appropriate.
- Assist other warehouse clerks as needed.
- Maintain clean and orderly warehouse and outside areas.
- Minimize loss by careful and accurate handling of materials.
- Support Quality Policy, Quality System, and follow established procedures. Propose changes to existing procedures through supervisor, understanding that changes cannot be implemented prior to formal approval in the Quality System.
- Follow safety rules to protect yourself, co-workers, equipment and facilities. Report unsafe practices and situations.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new employees.
- Participate in quarterly inventory as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Three years warehouse clerk experience required
- If experience is at Span-America, performance appraisals with overall minimum rating of expected for previous two years + satisfactory attendance
