Tribal Facilities Maintenance Worker

The ideal candidate for this position must have experience working in a facilities/maintenance department. The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, solar arrays, and general repairs.
• Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
• Working on public water systems, including distribution and treatment.
• Troubleshooting complex maintenance issues and developing effective solutions to resolve them, including HVAC (Commercial and residential) electrical systems, solar arrays, and associated equipment.
• Mentoring and training junior maintenance staff, sharing expertise and best practices to develop their skills.
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.

The candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Work Experience

At least three years of work experience in facility maintenance with a strong track record of effectively managing work projects, implementing maintenance programs and coordinating repairs.

Education Requirements/Licenses & Certification

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent vocational training in facilities maintenance, building management, or a related technical field. Must have a valid driver's license.
