Your role at VBA:


As the Accounts Receivable Specialist and Bookkeeper, you will help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, helping us process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This role is crucial to keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

Requirements:

Accounts Receivable/Bookkeeping responsibilities and duties include:

  • Record and maintain an accurate record of financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
  • File and archive invoices, receipts, and other relevant documentation
  • Record and reconcile payments received from regional centers, schools, and insurance providers
  • Utilize QuickBooks to accurately enter and track cash receipts
  • Post client payments to their respective accounts in Measure Practice Management
  • Initiate and follow up on collection efforts, coordinating with clients and management as needed
  • Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports for management

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of accounts receivable and/or bookkeeping experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office programs required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to efficiently analyze and present data
  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deliver accurate results while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination is required
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
