My client, a rapidly growing professional services firm located in Montgomery County has a great opportunity to work for an industry leader with nation-wide operations. This role will serve as a Senior Tax Accountant, responsible for tax returns in all applicable tax jurisdictions including federal, state, and local.

This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity reporting to the Tax Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and work with the external CPA firm and other teams in finance department to request and analyze financial records and reports, ensuring tax payments, maintaining tax calendar, handling tax notices/ audit requests, and responding investors/partners.
  • Assist the tax director in analyzing financials, calculating tax adjustments, apportionment, and tax provisions.
  • Responsible for gathering fixed assets data, maintaining workpapers, and filing tax returns.
  • Ensuring timely payment of property tax bills, and providing budget analysis to the accounting team.
