Job Description Job Description Description: Job Title: Northwest Territory Sales Manager (Arizona, California, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington) Reports to: VP of Sales Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Remote, In Territory Position Summary: Kahler Automation designs control systems for bulk material handling of grain, chemicals, fertilizer, minerals, and a wide array of other industries. These automated systems provide the ability to run a facility with ease and accuracy to accomplish more throughout with available labor. The solution control product loadout, receiving and inventory and ties directly into an accounting/invoicing software. This allows the facility to increase their competitiveness while reducing overhead. This full-time position involves the creation and execution of a territory plan providing and delivering necessary business growth for the territory. The TSM will deliver the sales-led steps of Kahler’s proven practice for customer success and will manage and build new relationships with key customers in agriculture and other industries. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related industrial or agricultural sales/ project management experience, or equivalent. Technical selling skills, including familiarity with basic electrical logic, industrial equipment, and bulk material facility experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office software, CRM, and ERP systems. Strong presentation and communication skills. Agricultural and agronomy knowledge is a strong plus. Requirements: Ability to travel by automobile and airplane as necessary. Valid Driver's License Overnight stays required, approximately 50% on average. Math: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations in a logical manner to come to conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Work Environment and Physical Demands: The employee may be required to spend time in industrial plants in proximity to equipment, processes, products, and chemicals. Certain personal protective equipment is required when in the plant or on a construction site. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, use hands, and reach.
