Surgical Services Nurse Manager

As the Surgical Services Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the 24-hour management of OR Surgical Services, including staff development, retention, performance improvement, and fiscal accountability. You will provide standards for quality of care and clinical practice and hold staff accountable, collaborating with other departments and Medical Staff to provide a multidisciplinary approach to improving care for patients and their families.

The ideal OR Nurse Manager will meet the following requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's strongly preferred
• Current State of Maryland License required
• Several years of related acute care leadership experience
• Ability to develop strong collaborative working relationships
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
• Knowledge of budget planning and strategic planning
