Summary: Perform basic material handling activities while providing support to production area personnel.

Job Responsibilities: (This job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed in this position. Associates will be required to follow any other job related instructions or to perform other job duties requested by their manager)
  1. Safety First - Obey the plant's safety rules and procedures by wearing PPE at all times and immediately addressing all safety concerns. Promotes an environment where zero injuries is the expected standard.
  2. To organize and stock all material requirements for production operations utilizing First In/First.
  3. Construct boxes for parts.
  4. Check all full, acceptable boxes for proper bar code labels.
  5. Count and label all unused parts and return to stock area.
  6. Back up shipper/receiver with incoming and outgoing material.
  7. Dump scrap hoppers.
  8. Scan in "in-process" parts and coils.
  9. CMS for Inventory Control.
  10. Inspect/Accept parts per work instruction / process book / procedures.
  11. Load press feeders as required.
  12. Recommend proposals for improving products, processes, systems productivity and working environment.
  13. Aware of Safety, Health & Environmental policies.
  14. Maintain clean and safe working environment.
  15. Know and understand MBCI Quality policy.
  16. Perform all other duties as required.
  17. Follows and supports MBCI and Magna's operating principles, including:

    2. Open Door Policy - Solves issues with two-way, open and friendly communication at the lowest level.

Qualifications: (These qualifications represent the minimum requirements of the position. Associates will be required to possess the ability and aptitudes to perform the duties proficiently)

Education and/or Experience:
  • Must have high school diploma or GED


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Operate fork lift and have the ability to pass the fork lift test and receivea fork lift driver's license within six months.
  • Good communications and organizational skills.
