Position Description Summary

Bean Bar employees are responsible for creating memorable experiences for our members through

maintaining high standards and producing top-notch products with exceptional customer service.

Role & Responsibilities
•Assist in the daily operation of the Bean Bar operations, as needed
•Prep ingredients as instructed, setting up the coffee bar in a clean, efficient manner
•Create exceptional beverages that represent BHIC standards
•Take orders from Members in person, via email, and over the phone
•Expedite all take out orders, communicating with culinary staff to ensure correct and

timely orders
•Make suggestions and upsell items with thorough knowledge of menus
•Operate the POS quickly, efficiently, and accurately
•Assist in the creation of new drinks on a seasonal basis
•Be familiar with all menu items, upselling where appropriate & answering questions
•Provide high-end customer service, helping Members with a smile
•Adhere to recipes, producing quality, high-end products consistently
•Learn and master all operational protocols and procedures
•Maintain the organization of all storage areas and products, ensuring a clean work area
•Ensure proper cleanliness of the Bean Bar, adhering to all health and safety regulations
•Complete all opening, closing, and side duties, as needed and instructed
•Help maintain food costs by decreasing waste
•Be detail-oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Education Requirements
•Proficient knowledge of restaurant operations
•Must possess attention to detail, follow-through, creativity, and a high level of

motivation
•Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
•Willingness to learn and accept instruction
•Must possess a positive attitude and good work ethic
•High-end/Fine Dining culinary experience in a hospitality environment preferred
•Ability to work independently

employee to perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part

•Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands
•Must be able to stand for long periods of time
