Ensure that the highest quality product is provided to the guests in a prompt and courteous manner

Responsible for seating guests and maintaining guest counts

+

Responsible for being knowledgeable in all menu items and pricing

+

Receives proper payment from guest and ensures accuracy of guest check and method of payment in order to safeguard customer and company

+

Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times

+

Responds to customer inquiries and comments in person and on telephone by providing timely and knowledgeable information

Maintain a clean working environment

+

Practice all sanitation and safety guidelines provided by the Health Department and hotel

Perform exceptional communication skills throughout all job duties

Must be able to pass a background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required tostand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle, or feel objects, or use telephone. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and or smell. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to stand on feet for 8 hours.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need to handle various cleaning equipment. Floors may be slippery. Will carry large items and push carts, which need to be cautiously positioned and transported. Broken glass or hot liquids may also be present and must be carefully handled. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
