Youth & Family Social Worker

We are working with a nonprofit organization in Pawtucket, RI that is looking to hire a Family Social Worker with amazing relationship building skills to their staff! As a Family Social Worker, you will be responsible for counseling youth with personal and psychological issues, and addressing relevant issues in the group child care and school setting like attendance, illegal drugs, teen pregnancy, and social adjustment issues. This is a high visibility role that will play a huge part in training other members of the staff how to handle certain scenarios. Candidates will ideally have their Masters in Social Work or be an LSW Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of families to identify strengths, needs, and risk factors. Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with families to address their goals and challenges. Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support to families to promote stability and well-being.
