Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Cook to join the team in Rockville, MD! This candidate will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

*300 dollar sign on bonus*

As a Cook you will:

  • Responsible for preparing food items for patients, cafeteria, and catering consumption.
  • Ensures products are produced in a timely manner under appropriate food safety guidelines.
  • Completes all documentation of time and temperature.

Qualifications include:

  • High School diploma/GED or minimum 1 year recent work experience
  • 1-2 years food service experience
  • Servsafe or be able to pass ServSafe within 60 days

Work Schedule:

Cook positions are needed 7 days a week; and every other weekend (Scheduled 37-40 hours weekly)

shifts vary - typical shifts range from 5:00a - 1:30p, 6a - 2p, 6:30a - 3:00p, 10:30a - 7:00p or 11:30 am to 8:00 pm
