Civil Engineering Intern

Position Overview:

As a member of our Civil Design team, you will develop a direct connection between your course work and the development of civil engineering related Construction Documents. The schedule will be flexible, for as many hours as you need, working around your class schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

You will work directly with the Project Manager on the following tasks:

• Assist with Site Development planning and design aspects - both private and public developments (i.e. Storm water management design, water and wastewater design, roadway and parking lot design, grading design, erosion and sediment control design, site due diligence studies, and construction details and specifications).
• Permitting of commercial, residential, and industrial site development projects

• Assist with the preparation of associated calculations and reports.
• Work with the design team in various aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans related to Site Development.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current college student perusing a Bachelor's degree in an ABET accredited civil engineering program.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
