Job Description

Primarily responsible for ensuring that customer parts and work instructions are properly received and entered into the production database and picking, updating and printing shipment paperwork for all customer repair orders. Additionally, stocks repair and new production parts into finished goods stockroom. Generates export documents and any other customer specified requirements. Must effectively communicate with Cell Technicians/Operators, Cell Technical Leads, Operation Team Leaders, Site Leadership Team and Customer Service Team of relevant material/information flow activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 4-7 years industry related experience in a manufacturing environment. Able to work independently with limited supervisory guidance.
- Prior knowledge of components and flow of material.
- As required, must be able to set up test fixtures independently. Able to adapt to procedures, techniques, and/or processes to meet special needs on varied assignments.
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications. Perform semi-complex mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.
- Able to implement and effectively apply lean initiatives.
- Possess effective interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a high performing team environment.
- Able to interpret reports and use standard business software applications. Able to use employee self-service system to access on-line information and use specialized automated systems (i.e. PMR, TORS, e-mail).
- Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
