CNC Machinist

Summary: Seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate a vertical CNC machine center with expertise in Mazatrol and FANUC controllers.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1-3 years of experience operating CNC vertical machining centers

• Proficiency in FANUC & Mazatrol controllers

• Familiarity with G and M codes for vertical machining centers

• Experience with CAD software for CNC machining

• Advanced math skills for calculating feeds and speeds

• Proficient with measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers

• Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes

Responsibilities:

• Write controller programs for various parts using Mazatrol and FANUC

• Interpret engineering drawings accurately

• Align and secure material on the machine using jigs, fixtures, guides, measuring instruments, and hand tools

• Select appropriate tooling for jobs, manage tool life, and adjust to maintain tolerances

• Unload trucks using forklifts and cranes

• Verify material grade, size, quantity through visual inspection and measurement

• Inspect completed work against material specifications

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
