Civil Engineer (Entry Level)

Position Overview:

The primary focus of this role will be site development planning and design aspects - both private and public development to include storm water management design, water and wastewater design, roadway and parking design, grading design, stormwater management system design, erosion and sediment control design, and construction detailing and specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with Site Development planning and design aspects - both private and public developments (i.e. Storm water management design, water and wastewater design, roadway and parking lot design, grading design, erosion and sediment control design, site due diligence studies, and construction details and specifications).
• Permitting of commercial, residential, and industrial site development projects

• Assist with the preparation of associated calculations and reports.
• Work with the design team in various aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans related to Site Development.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• 0-2 years' professional engineering experience.
• E.I.T. or F.E. certification preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with direct supervision.
