THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be performing application, database development, and maintenance, and ensuring coding is consistent with the system requirements and design, as well as applying and conforming to application procedures and standards. Work also includes analysis, planning, design, development, testing and debugging, maintenance and documentation of all agency applications. You will have the opportunity to customize agency applications to meet the requirements of agency stakeholders and perform additional duties as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Shippensburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as an Applications Developer 1 or Computer Programmer 3; or
  • Four years of information technology experience that includes two years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or
  • Two years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
  • A bachelor's degree in any information technology field.

Other Requirements:

  • This particular position also requires:
    • Two or more years of full-time experience with Angular
    • Two or more years of full-time experience with SSIS
    • One or more years of full-time experience managing sprints and backlogs using Azure DevOps
