Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Platform Architect to work from their Fairfax, VA facility. As a Platform Architect for the AN/BYG-1 and Tactical Control Systems programs, you'll perform as the lead contributor and visionary in a cross functional team responsible for enabling a seamless developer experience. You will continuously focus on removing hurdles to enable rapid capability development experience by software and infrastructure developers, utilizing the best in breed practices and technologies.
Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
