Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Non-Certified Surgical Tech for our Operating Room in Rockville, MD! This candidate will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an Operating Room Non-Certified Surgical Tech you will:
Prepare and organize the operating room, clean and sterilize equipment, and maintain a sterile environment. You will also take into consideration the specific needs and behaviors of specific patient populations during procedures.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate from an accredited Surgical Tech program.
  • Valid Surgical Tech National Certification preferred (or 6 months upon hire)
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • One year of current Surgical Tech experience in a hospital environment preferred with strong computer skills.

Work Schedule:

M-F Day shift, plus on-call programs

10-hour or 12-hour Day shifts available.
