Physical Therapist (School-Based)

Salary: $46 per hour

Spindle Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team and provide services within a school setting in Waynesville, Missouri.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, addressing areas such as gross motor skills, mobility, coordination, and strength.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and other members of the educational team to integrate therapy goals into students' individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input and support for the development and implementation of students' educational programs.

Requirements:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Missouri.
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
• Dedication to promoting the health, well-being, and academic success of students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
